How to set Napbots with Bitfinex?
Napbots is a software program that uses your API key to trade on your exchange account automatically, and this automated service requires your API key in order to operate. Which actually is a password that helps Napbots to log into your account and position crypto orders, enabling the bot to communicate with the exchange far more easily.
These easy steps will walk you through how to set Napbots with Bitfinex, including how to create an API Key and how to connect it to your Napbots account:
Step 1: To begin, Login and create a new API key.
Log into your Bitfinex account and navigate to the settings api to generate the key. Select just the permissions you want your mobile app to have throughout the creation process. For instance, you might grant read access to the key for orders but not write access. This would enable your app to view existing orders but not to place new ones, therefore enhancing the account’s security in the case of a hacked device.
Step 2: Scan the QR code with your smartphone.
When the API key from step 1 is created, your browser will display a QR Code (only once).
On your phone or tablet, use the Bitfinex mobile app and click the LOG IN option.
You’ll be prompted to add a key or scan a QR code. You may either scan the QR code or enter in the previous step’s API key and secret API key. The API key and API key secret will be immediately inserted into the fields if you scan the QR code from the Bitfinex website.
Also note that you must provide the Bitfinex app access to your camera in order to scan the QR code.
Take care to store your API key and secret in a secure location. It will not be shown again.
Step 3: Create a personal identification number (PIN).
Create a 4-digit PIN and click Save.
Following this initial setup, the mobile app is accessed through the PIN.
Nota bene: If your smartphone supports fingerprint or facial recognition, you can also log in using these methods.
Step 5: Connect your API Key
Last but not the least, log in to NapBots and paste your API Key. From your dashboard, go to see details then to settings.
Finally, Paste your API key and click on Connect. Then on your Dashboard, you should have a green thumb indicating everything is in order.
